DON: The holidays are over. The new year is the start of something fresh for many people. But it's also wintertime, so in some areas of the country, it's cold, it's dark. So there are some risks for certain folks in terms of increased rates of depression, for example. The new year is an opportunity to focus on your healthcare and particularly to not lose sight of your mental health.

A blue background swipes diagonally onto the screen, and white text appears.

ON SCREEN TEXT:          How can you prioritize

                                    your mental health?

The blue background wipes away to reveal Don once again.

DON: Don't wait till you're in crisis. So it's really important that when you're noticing...

An image appears of a woman lying in bed. She is clutching her pillow with a worried expression on her face. Then, an image of a woman standing in front of an open refrigerator appears. The woman scratches her head as she stares at the contents. We cut back to Don's interview.

DON: Your sleep might be disrupted, you might have appetite changes, you might be isolating more, things of that nature, or you're worrying more about things, make sure you connect, reach out, seek out your advocate at UnitedHealthcare, where they can help guide you to the right type of support that you might need.

A blue background swipes diagonally onto the screen again, and more white text appears.

ON SCREEN TEXT:          How do I find help

                                    for mental health?

The blue background wipes away and we return again to Don.

DON: You can always start with your advocate at UnitedHealthcare. The number on the back of your card can help guide you to resources. You'll have somebody that really can help you navigate the system and provide you with the resources, whether it be self-directed apps to help you with tools and tips for yourself to finding a therapist or connecting with a psychiatrist.

A white background with blue text fades into view.
