Over the past five years, enrollment in Medicare Advantage (MA) plans has grown by 44%, to 21.1 million people. MA plans can provide more benefits than Original Medicare as well as the added protection of capping your out of pocket costs, making MA the plan of choice for more than one third (35%) of people enrolled in Medicare – and growing. Those who are newly eligible for Medicare are choosing MA 66% of the time.
