A sweet-sounding hearing aid benefit

When Rick went to see a specialist for an ear infection, he was surprised to learn he needed hearing aids. His initial thought was, “Well, how am I going to afford that?”

However, after contacting UnitedHealthcare, he learned his Medicare advantage plan offered name brand and private-label hearing aid options for a low copays – music to his ears, quite literally.

He also said the entire process — from learning about his options, selecting a device, and getting fitted for the hearing aids — was quick and easy.

“It was a load lifted off my shoulders,” Rick said.

After receiving his hearing aids and attending a performance of the Houston Symphony, Rick said the difference was clear.

“I didn’t know what I was missing,” he said.
