There’s good news about virtual care, also known as telehealth. New research shows access to these services is already helping to keep people out of hospital emergency rooms. That's likely to result in lower claims costs for employers.

Furthermore, even after the pandemic ends, most people say they expect to get health care services virtually, in part because they’ve been satisfied with what they’ve experienced the past couple of years.
