NEW YORK (Oct. 4, 2021) – Northwell Health System and UnitedHealthcare today announced they have reached an agreement that enables both organizations to continue to work collaboratively on a number of key areas of opportunity over the next five years. Northwell has agreed that its full continuum of services will continue to be available to current and future UnitedHealthcare members enrolled in employer-sponsored, individual and Medicare Advantage plans.
The continued relationship will increase collaboration and care coordination between the two organizations through an expanded, value-based relationship. UnitedHealthcare will reward Northwell for achieving key quality measures that are proven to improve health outcomes for patients while also making health care more affordable.
